"I hear the Lord saying that He is the Holy and Exalted One and He comes in to fill those places where there is a void, wherever that is.  If there is a hurt, He comes to heal that hurt.  Where there is loneliness, He comes to fill that loneliness.  When there is a need He comes in to supply that need whatever it is.  And you can just almost feel His presence tonight as He has come down to flow almost like smoke from a flame that He's come in to weave His way around us tonight.  To supply that need that we have whatever it is, He is here to supply that for you.  To fill that void wherever the void is He's here to fill it.  He's here to calm that restless spirit.  He's here to assure you that your doubts are unfounded that He is sure and as we lean on Him, He will prop us up and hold us up so that we can accomplish that which He has set before us.  Because He has not put anything before us can not accomplish.  So He is coming tonight to smooth over some of those places that have been rough in our lives and in our spirits.  He's coming to let us know that He will fill our every need.

 Not only does He give us His Word and His promises but every word that He has spoken is sure.  And it will come to pass, so don't look at what's behind you and don't look at where we are now but see where we are going.  And what we have to accomplish because we are who He has chosen.  As we have stood and said, "Use me Lord, Send me Lord, Let me Lord."  Then He has come down tonight to assure you that these callings that He has placed upon you, He will provide the source and the means and the way and the education so that you can accomplish that which He has set before you.  And it's simply because He loves us.  He loves us so much that He gave His Son so that should prove to us that there is nothing that is impossible with Him.  So let Him come in and remove all those doubts, let Him come in and smooth over whatever your feelings are tonight.  Let Him assure you, don't hear me, hear the words that He's saying to you that He can accomplish those things that He has put in front of us.  He's made ways that we didn't have any idea that there was any way that it could be accomplished.  He's put us in those places and He's assured us not only through His Word coming from Him through our Apostle, but He has given us the ability to hear the words behind the words.  As He has put signs before us in each one of us at some point in time we have become a sign one to another.  And we need to look on our victories, we need to call our victories and know that our victories assure us that there will be other victories.  Forget about the defeats, forget about the times that we felt like we were not going anywhere or doing anything because that's behind us.  And He's opened the door and He's widened the path that we can all walk through and be Victorious."

Jeremiah 17:5-8 (NLT) states, “This is what the Lord says: ‘Cursed are those who put their trust in mere humans, who rely on human strength and turn their hearts away from the Lord. They are like stunted shrubs in the desert, with no hope for the future. They will live in the barren wilderness, in an uninhabited salty land. But blessed are those who trust in the Lord and have made the Lord their hope and confidence. They are like trees planted along a riverbank, with roots that reach deep into the water. Such trees are not bothered by the heat or worried by long months of drought. Their leaves stay green, and they never stop producing fruit.”

The world right now is in a precarious situation. Many people have turned from God and have chosen to rely on politics or the government. However, as the word states those who put their trust in mere humans are cursed. If people continue to rely on the government for support they will never rise above their current situation. Although many within the government state they want to help those who are in need, this is not true. It has been proven over time that if the government is given charge over the personal lives of people that ultimately the people will be even more oppressed and suppressed than before.

However, God wants to see His people overcome. He wants to see His people be victorious. He did not create us in His likeness to be poor and pitiful. There are many examples of those who have chosen not to line themselves up with the government and God gave them the victory. Daniel chose not to eat the food of Babylon and God blessed him because of this. Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego refused to bow down to the gold statue. They were thrown into a blazing furnace but they were not burned up. Esther went before the king when she had not been called to do so yet God saved her and the king did not kill her.

If people will turn from their wicked ways and seek after the one true God (2 Chronicles 7:14) and not rely on man they will be blessed. In the midst of drought they will continue to bear and produce fruit. Regardless of how the world is suffering the Lord will protect His people. Yes there will be trials and tribulations and yes God allows this, but just as He blessed Job after his trials and tribulation He will also bless those who refuse to turn away from Him and refuse to curse Him.

The world today is filled with people who have a “want it now” mentality. We must renew our minds and realize that God does not work according to our schedule. If we are in the middle of a test instead of giving up we need to ask God what He would like us to learn from it and then learn what ever that lesson is. It is not difficult serving God, but we make it difficult because we allow our thoughts to get in the way of God’s voice. We must realize that our thoughts will never line up with His thoughts if we do not renew our minds. (Isaiah 55:8)

God wants to bless you. He wants to protect you from the harshness of this world. It is your choice on whether you will allow Him to do that. He is sending out a call to those who are lost, who are helpless, and who are at the end of their rope. He wants to pour out on you. Will you allow him to do so?"Are you tired? Worn out? Burned out on religion? Come to me. Get away with me and you'll recover your life. I'll show you how to take a real rest. Walk with me and work with me—watch how I do it. Learn the unforced rhythms of grace. I won't lay anything heavy or ill-fitting on you. Keep company with me and you'll learn to live freely and lightly." Due to the heat and drought in the Southeast, I asked the LORD why this was happening.  This was the LORD’S answer to me.

We are to worship HIM. We are not just to sing, but to begin to truly worship HIM, from the depths of our very being.  Not the way we have in the past. He is not calling for a concert or a collective gathering, but one of individual responsibility. There, in your own home, begin to worship Father in HIS Spirit and HIS truth. (John 4:23, 24)  Not asking HIM for anything. Love HIM for HIM.  Worship the CREATOR not HIS creation. (Psalm 147: 7-9 ; Deut. 11: 1, 10, 11, 16, 17, 26, 27, 28 ) “Long for HIM.”  When I hear the word “drought,” I think of someone in great need whether it be physical or spiritual. Not just physical water, but the very WORD of GOD saturating ones soul. (Jeremiah 3: 3-4)

We are in serious times and our Father knows the hearts and minds of men. Do not bring a half hearted sacrifice to HIM. Maybe this is why HE wants it done individually. We sometimes worry about what those around us think and this might hinder the “pureness” of the sacrifice.  (Matthew 6: 5)  (Joel 2: 23). Love HIM with ALL your heart. HE is I AM!

 

Are your people ready for the battle?

 Who is sleeping in a battle zone, the sheep or the shepherd?

Teach all of your people to move in the prophetic.

The ministry of the saints, is it happening in your church? Why not? Answer the call to equip. Any shepherd who restricts the gifting of the sheep under his charge, is robbing the herd.

Are there risks? Sure there are! When you ask the Spirit to move through an earthen vessel. But it worked in you, didn't it?

The Goliath Church

I was listening to some very "war fare" praise this morning---really keying in on the words. The attitude was:

 Bold! Confrontational! Cocky!


Then I heard..."My church presently is more like Goliath than like David. In the comfort of its own camp it is willing to make all kinds of threats and proclamations against the enemy. Inside the camp is confidence and bravado. Inside the camp are exuberant words, chiding the enemy. Like school yard toughs drawing lines in the sand, confident rooted more in numbers than in fighting ability. Mouthing words with no real inward inclination to fight. Chiding and mocking then running into little groups to congratulate each other on what was "said".

The enemy is a type of David; we see him revealed in the women caught in adultery. But with one distinct difference. This David like creature is not only carrying rocks, he is more than willing to sling them. And his rocks are effective because he has caught too many of the church in a time of adultery. In many cases it is believers caught in actual adultery; in other cases it is spiritual adultery. This has been going on for seasons. This will last for another season. Those who shout words with no life are at risk. Those who mouth words of power are at risk. Those who find power in numbers and demonstrate no power in the Spirit are like the army of Goliath, not My army. My David was man after My own heart. He walked alone, yet in My power, to confront an army. This Goliath type of believer will suffer wounds and celebrate it as victory; because it is not death. It is life in the Spirit that is at stake here! Was David, the one after My own heart, wounded? Did Saul escape the sword? One commanded an army and the other sang before sheep. One was surrounded by numbers, the other ...alone. There is a way out of this."

The Three Hundred

Judges Chapter 6 verses 1 through 6 (NLT) states, "Again the Israelites did evil in the eyes of the LORD, and for seven years he gave them into the hands of the Midianites. Because the power of Midian was so oppressive, the Israelites prepared shelters for themselves in mountain clefts, caves and strongholds. Whenever the Israelites planted their crops, the Midianites, Amalekites and other eastern peoples invaded the country. They camped on the land and ruined the crops all the way to Gaza and did not spare a living thing for Israel, neither sheep nor cattle nor donkeys. They came up with their livestock and their tents like swarms of locusts. It was impossible to count the men and their camels; they invaded the land to ravage it. Midian so impoverished the Israelites that they cried out to the LORD for help."
I believe this is the position of the United States today. For the past several decades the U.S. has gradually turned from God. She has hidden in shelters, mountain clefts, caves and strongholds. Slowly our economy has turned to the point where many Americans aren't sure how they will buy their next meal. Our country was founded on Godly principles. However, over time Americans have forgotten these principles and turned to their own way of doing things. We are in danger of losing our spiritual inheritance. The Church has not done much prayerful intervention. After doing a word study on the Midianites, I found that they worshipped a variety of gods, including the Queen of Heaven. This insults the Church because our Groom is the King of Heaven. Therefore we are to rightfully claim our place beside Him as the Queen of Heaven. But we have allowed the enemy to come and usurp our betrothal.
However, God is calling forth a people to stand against principalities and powers and to reclaim what rightfully belongs to His Bride. God is locating His remnant who are watchful, prayerful warriors, and on guard to do His bidding. At the end of Judges Chapter Six God chose Gideon to lead an army into battle to repossess those things the Midianites took from the Israelites. God is locating men and women from across the United States who will lead the Church to do this. We are now at the point where God is choosing the Three Hundred.
In Judges Chapter Seven God reduces Gideon's army from twenty two thousand men to ten thousand and then to three hundred. The first sifting came because the men were afraid. We must not be afraid to overcome that which stands against our spiritual progress. It is prophesied there are things which have been put on spiritual layaway…take it…it belongs to you. Do not allow fear to stop you. The second sifting of Gideon's army came because those gathered were not aware of their surroundings. Never become overwhelmed by the world's events that you neglect your spiritual man. We are to be ready in season and out. Do not be caught unaware!!
Judges 7:7-8 (NLT) "The LORD said to Gideon, 'With the three hundred men that lapped I will save you and give the Midianites into your hands. Let all the other men go, each to his own place.' So Gideon sent the rest of the Israelites to their tents but kept the three hundred, who took over the provisions and trumpets of the others."

God is positioning the Church to take back what the Midianite spirit has taken from America. He is giving that spirit into our hands. We must take back what is rightfully ours. Do not be one of the 21,700 men who did not participate. Be part of the Three Hundred who will blow the shofar and shout: "A sword for the LORD and for Gideon!"(Judges 7:20) As you do this watch as that Midianite spirit runs and flees. (Judges 7:21)

Promise: Some time back our Bishop spoke to us regarding “cutting the anchor of regret.” Dragging this relic of yesterday’s news does nothing to enrich our faith or equip us for the work at hand. So on Bishops behalf and at the encouragement of the Holy Spirit, I say to you, “Cut the anchor of regret.” Do not toy with the rope or tarry as you make the cut. Simply put this old, tired news that has dragged you down for years in its proper place, the deepest hole the ocean (figuratively) has to offer. Cut the rope and let that issue sink into the miry clay! Fears, failure, nagging doubts, “should haves”, almost and any other term that reminds you of miss-steps. The Word says “This is the day the Lord has made.”  He says that “Joy cometh, when, in the morning!”

The Holy Spirit has added to this. To all who cut the anchor of regret: “Raise your sails. Catch the wind of the Holy Spirit. Yesterdays regrets are not monuments to faith; faith is raising the sails to catch His wind, by faith allowing the Holy One to chart the course. Listen to the cracking of the canvas as the fill with His wind. Feel His Holy wind all around you. What wind has He released over you this day as you act in faith? It may be uncharted waters but is His wind – it is His direction – it is His purpose for you this day. See it in a fresh sunrise as the wind fills your sail. Feel His presence as He sets you back on course. Hear the cracking of the canvas sheets! Feel the fresh wind blowing! Step out in faith and loosen yourself from that bondage of yesterday’s failures!  Keep your eyes on the course ahead. Be tuned to the adjustments in the course that He may chart. Leave behind the “comfort’ that sometimes develops when we refuse to let go of the familiar. And , yes, hanging on to failed decisions and failed relationships and failed ministry can bring us a blind comfort, leading us to nowhere. Stuck in the middle of the ocean of life  anchored to the dead issues of yesterday.”

For the Nations

As judgment continues in the House of the Lord it has transcended in to the nations, in territories , in principalities and powers. In My House I am not yet done. But others have sat and scoffed at the plight of those found falling short in My House. I have heard the repentance and bottled the tears of honest repentance. The repentance of My servants who have turned from their wicked ways. Nations and peoples have derided them in their moment of judgment not knowing that My heart is always to the repentant. Now comes the shaking of powers and principalities on earth. Now comes the shaking of nations.

Those of you who have turned from Me, I have seen your wicked ways. You are neither hot nor cold and many are My judgments against you. I am not turned by politics or policies but by the sinful nature of ungodly rulers and peoples. My anger burns against oppressive kings and peoples who do not see the plight of the helpless, the widow and the orphan. I have seen once great nations who bowed to My Word erase Me from your hearts. Turning Me away at the door. I have seen once mighty nations open their doors to abominations and sin. Yet in My judgments I open My heart yet again to reconcile your ways. Yet again repentance can turn My anger. I will hear the cries of the people and My anger will turn from them. But still I am shaking that which can be shaken. Your abominations are before Me and you have taken Me lightly. You say in your heart, “He is asleep, He is not watching me in the dark and I can now sin in the light. I can appease false gods and invite in the gods of His enemy. I can lay with harlots and do the abominations that He has spoken against. See? There is no penalty! For He sleeps and looks away.”

I am not asleep and your rebellion has risen to My throne. You will find yourself as the beggars and blind. You will look to the gods you have allowed to prosper in your boundaries and they will be silent. Your prayers will fall on gods of brass and they cannot move on your behalf. You have compromised to keep the peace and you have signed a peace treaty with wolves. You have turned cold and the fire of My word which once burned in your nation has grown dim and you walk as men who have their own strength, forsaking Me. Yesterdays glory and service cannot save you. You have shut up My Kingdom by your actions and your cold hearts. You are blind to My Light. You have said in your heart, “ I do not need Him.”

You have become appeasers, you have let foreign gods sit at the table of your rulers. You are blind to the plight of your people. They walk as the dead, restless and cold to their plight. They have grown colder and colder yet you maintain the course. You follow the crooked path. Surely you have sinned against Me. Surely you have no remorse nor sorrow. You continue in your journey and drag your people to the jaws of hell. You have set your own course following your man made stars and directions. You have set a course for destruction and My judgments will come as strong winds and restless waters. They will buffet you in the course you have taken and great will be the destruction as you run into shallow waters in a great storm! I have sent My servants across your borders and yet you refuse to listen. I have sent My servants to your ports and your decks, yet you refuse to set a new course. He that has an ear hear these words.

My shaking has come even now, at your door. I will not hold back. Turn now, even as you see the falling of man’s wisdom, you stand firm, looking to your wisdom to turn the rudder I have set! It is not in your strength, it is not in your wisdom, but it is repentance alone that will change the course of destruction your are now sailing. Yet even then there is a time when man delays beyond the eleventh hour and then it will be too late.
